Ed Nagle III
President, CEO

Born and raised in Toledo , Ed was the first of four brothers "recruited" to work with Ed and Joanne Nagle June 1, 1984. Entering the trucking industry in 1978 at 15, he started in facility maintenance at the "Toledo 5" truck stop, then pump boy, mechanic, the last 2 years as a manager. Upon graduating from college, Ed was named V.P. Operations, a role he held until named President/CEO when Ed and Joanne retired at the end of 1997.  

Ed is close with his three wonderful children (Joe, Christie, and Jeff) and has been very involved in their busy lives. Remarried in 2007, he spends a lot of time with his wife Jane, a pre-kindergarten Special Education teacher. His outside involvements are with Catholic Charities, Sisters of Notre Dame, St. Charles Hospital, Toledo Trucking Assoc, Ohio Trucking Assoc. TMACOG (Toledo Metropolitan Council of Governments), Port Authority, and the new Intermodal Transportation Institute at the University of Toledo.

 

Steve Nagle
Warehouse Manager

Steve has served the Nagle Companies since the beginning of August of 1984. He is the second oldest of the four Nagle brothers. Steve has worked at various positions starting as a billing clerk, then dispatcher and Vice President of Operations. Currently Steve oversees warehouse operations.

"I am very proud of the way our company has grown. We have faced good times as well as recent economic adversities. Through these challenging times it is imperative to watch cost at all levels without skimping on service."

The warehouse has many customers and we feel that all are treated with respect. We cannot afford delays on either end, shipping or receiving so we try to keep a positive atmosphere in our daily duties.

Steve is most proud of working with all the Nagle family. "From office staff, drivers, mechanics and warehouse personal I could not have wished for a better team at Nagle."

Steve has one daughter Stephanie Nagle who is graduating from the University of Toledo in the Spring of 2009, she will be pursuing her masters program in Speech Pathology starting in the fall of 09. "I am lucky to have Stephanie in my life. She balances my life like no other. Watching her develop into a respectable young woman is a treasure."
I am very thankful for the opportunity that my parents gave me in starting a career at Nagle. Watching my brothers develope into hard working respectable people also makes me proud. Now......my nephews and nieces are starting to work at Nagle, WOW! Hard work seems to run in this family and that is what it's going to take to continue our success in the future.

Pat Nagle
Vice-President Operations

Pat Nagle is the third oldest, or second youngest of the four Nagle Brothers. He has been with the company since January 1986. Pat's responsibilities with the company have been in dispatch since he started, always dealing with both customers and drivers.  

Pat is happily married to his wife Mickey, and is very blessed with four children (2 boys, 2 girls).

Frank Lucki
Fleet Dispatch

I have been with the Nagle family since October 1998, though I have been in the transportation business all my life starting with my father's business; working on trucks, changing tires, lube jobs, etc. Through my career I have been Operations Manager, Recruiter, Safety, Rates, Piggy Back, Containers, and made good old fashioned sales calls.

I currently live in Woodville Ohio with my wonderful wife, Chris and our son, Frank III. I enjoy watching football, playing golf, fishing, and pitching horse shoes. When time permits long bike trips are also very enjoyable.

Nancy McCloskey
Billing and Accounts Payable

I've been with Nagle since July of 1997. I do the billing for the Brokerage and Truckload divisions and O.S.& D's for both companies I also work with Accounts Payable.  

I spend as much time as I can doing outside activities such as walking, running, and gardening. My husband and I enjoy working on home projects together. We also try to escape once a year down to the Florida Keys , our favorite vacation spot.

Tim Harman
Dispatch

Born on April Fool's Day (preordained to be in trucking!)in 1950 I am one of six children. Raised in Toledo , I graduated from Central Catholic High School and the University of Toledo where I played basketball for both schools.  

My transportation career started at in August of 1997 in the warehouse. As knowledge of freight and customers increased I was moved into dispatch for the Brokerage division where I currently enjoy Pat as my boss!  

I am a devoted single parent to my five children who are the source of much pride and enjoyment. I am interested in attending all types of sporting events and playing as much golf as time permits.

Bob Koch
Management Information Systems


I have been employed with Nagle since February of 1992.  My job entails taking care of the computers, assisting with the finance and accounting functions, payroll, fuel tax, and many other misc duties.

My wife's name is Melisa.  I have a daughter Ashley, and a son Erik, from a previous marriage.  I have lived in the Toledo area my whole life, where I graduated from St Francis de Sales High School , and The University of Toledo.

Brian Boger
Service Manager 

I grew up and went to school in Wauseon, OH. I have been around vehicle repair since birth. From helping my Dad in his shop or working with my uncle on the farm. Shortly after High School I got involved with fleet trucks and learned the value of both preventative maintenance and quality repairs in the trucking industry

Lonnie Hoepf
Safety Director


Born Feb 3 1954 at the Naval Hospital in Charleston , S.C. and was baptized in Naval Chapel on base. Second oldest of four children, each born in a different state.

I blame my parents for getting me hooked on trucking, at a young age (3). We lived in Lancaster , PA for 3 years and made many trips on the PA and OH turnpikes to come back and visit family in the Tiffin , Ohio area. I was always fascinated by the big trucks with all their lights, and I loved going thru the mountains and tunnels. Also, at 5 my brother and I rode in the Veteran's Day parade with my dad driving a tractor trailer hauling a missile.

Professionally, I drove truck for approx 13 years, before getting into management. Most of my experience was in tankers, including cryogenic materials. I began my career in management in 1990 with Flint Ink Corp., where I earned my Private Fleet Manager's Certification through the NPTC. Since beginning my tenure with Nagle in 1999, I have been very active in promoting safety in the trucking industry through membership in several professional organizations and safety committees.
I have been married to my wife Vicki for over 25 years and have done my best to be a good dad to my son Zachary.

I am married to Vicki. We have one child, Zachary.

Carol Kurfess
Assistant Controller


Carol was raised in the Toledo area. After conquering the fields of accounting in Construction, Drugs, Mental Health and Property Management, she selected the trucking industry.

Carol has been with Nagle Toledo, in the accounting department since October 1998.

Her life's joy is her son, who is in TV production in the Toledo area and her granddaughter, who is 1 1/2 years old.

Any spare time is spent gardening, reading, watching HGTV and planning future projects, inside and outside her home.

Tom Blume
Chief Financial Officer

Born and raised in Kenton , Ohio , and graduated from Ball State University . Previously worked for Schindler Elevator. I am married to Betsy whom I met during my 8 years in Southern California . I have 3 children: Amy, Melissa, and Eric.  I enjoy watching my children participate in various sports and activities.  

I love to travel and enjoy watching sports. I enjoy a once a year road trip to some major college football game. My favorite place to vacation is Yosemite where I spent my honeymoon and have hiked and visited many times.

E. Joseph Nagle IV
Sales & Accounts Receivable Manager


Joe was born and raised in Toledo, OH. He is the first of the new generation of the Nagle family to begin working full time for the Nagle Companies. He began working for Nagle full time in September 2003 as an Administrative Assistant. Currently Joe is the Sales and Accounts Receivable Manager. He handles rate management, collections, and load tracking.

Joe is married to Jamie Nagle and they are the proud parents of Penny Nagle
